On November 17-19, the first training seminar under PROTECT project was held in Bansko. Prosecutor Iskra Bilyarska from the District Prosecutor's Office in Sofia covered the topic of domestic violence: general regulation, proportionality, specific approaches in the qualification in cases of factual complications and judicial practice. Judge Maria Doncheva from the Sofia District Court talked about the criminal aspects of domestic violence, what is the practice of the ECHR. She also introduced the topics about the due care and the proper approach to the victim.
